I make ceramics on my kitchen table and I am currently exploring wheel thrown tea bowls and teacups, using grogged porcelain, black and stoneware clays. I love combining and layering coats of different liquid clays revealing their raw quality or the refined consistency of porcelain. I make small batches in response to my environment and the change of seasons. Nature, Hackney marshes and Far Eastern ceramics are my present sources of inspiration. I teach pottery classes at the Working Men’s College in Camden.
