My works; Contemporary Archaeology, are all handmade using a combination of hand-building and throwing technique.
My interest in ceramics came after 16 years of working as art director in cinema and TV industry in Milan. I completed my PhD in Museology, and since then my interest has turned into my career.
The works of Contemporary Archaeology have a strong influence by the fragments collection from the iconic classics Greek and Roman shapes to Renaissance art, which I reinterpret according to imaginary ideas.
They showcase harmonious and yet often daring interplay of texture and colour.
I hope my collection will give as much a visual delight as it is a tactile experience.
