Fiona Fouhy

Prints & drawings

31 Colvestone Crescent, E8 2LG

Fiona Fouhy is an artist who predominantly uses monotype techniques in her work; she also animates her prints and drawings, creates her own ink and uses experimental drawing and photography. Processes, materials and chance inform and evolve her practice. The scale of her work is guided by the subject matter – credit-card size images for tiny fairy-ink cap mushrooms or large-scale paper for expressive, windswept trees.

She lives and works in East London and is part of the East London Printmakers studio community as a permanent key holder and tutor.

She has won awards for her work at the National Original Print Exhibition in 2017, 2018 and 2022 and her work is held in public and private collections throughout the UK, including Central Saint Martins Contemporary Collection and the V&A Prints and Drawings Collection.
